This is a small tutorial on running OTRS (tested with versions 2.4, 3.0 and 3.1) on a nginx webserver. This tutorial is based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS but has also been tested on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (mind that you will have to use backports or self compiled software here!) and 11.10:

Intelligent Surface for OTRS 3.1 released

The popular form module IS for OTRS is now - one week after the official OTRS 3.1 - available for the brand new version of the OTRS ticket system. It took a lot of work due to undocumented OTRS code but now it includes a lot of detail improvements and new features such as:

  • OTRS 3.1 dynamic fields
  • Limit access by groups
  • Improved interfaces
